Monster Integration - 3001 All Down I
CLANNNNNG!
I defended against the attack and sent back tens of steps while others appeared and handled the Grimms, who were coming at me for the second attack.
I wiped away the blood from my lips with a smile. I may have been hit by the attack, but it also helped me take a last step with my strings and bind it fully inside and out, making it the second Grimms of the fourth.
It was only a twenty-fifth minute since I had begun and a ninth since I had finished with the first.
Instantly, I moved toward the third Grimms.
I planned to fully bind it even sooner, as the mad charge of these Golden Fire Werewolves is expending the energy of the humans fast.
If this continues, then I may not even have an hour.
Not to mention, I am myself in danger; these constant attacks with full power have been expending a lot of my essence energy, and this time, there is no strengthening energy to refill it.
Now that I have reached my limit, everything of my share is going to the mysterious tree, which is growing with it and converting it to growth energy.
All the plants in my core had reached above the limit, especially the important plants like the mysterious tree, the metal essence tree, and the stainless lotuses, which again drained all the corruption.
Thankfully, old snake had a huge amount of it, and the clone one had dumped it all into the pool.
I just need to survive it; I have got a huge amount of resources, nearly everything I need for my breakthrough I got it.
Most importantly, the resources are above the limit.
For this kind of resource, I was fretting about, and now I have got, passing the one hurdle for my breakthrough.
The only thing I need to do is survive; with the two Grimms in, the chances of it have increased significantly.
Now, I just need to take the third one, and everything will be perfect.
Hun!
I was just thinking that when I sensed another Grimm appearing in front of me and swinging my sword ahead.
CLANNNNNNG!
The weapons clashed, and I was sent back vomiting while a couple of bones of my body broke, but that very moment, the life source drilled inside them and began to heal them fast.
Though not as fast as before, my constantly draining life force had made it harder to heal my injuries faster.
The more it drained away, the harder it would be to heal my injuries.
It is not just the case for me but for all the other humans; their life-essences are rapidly draining, and that is putting a massive strain on the healing abilities of their bodies.
The Grimms have noticed it, which is why they have changed their strategy. Instead of trying directly kill the humans, they are now using attacks that drain more energy of humans in defending.
The only one who is safe in it is Rai, who has gained the strength to fight against the Grimms head-on.
He also changed his strategy of fighting from defensive; it had moved to offensive, the thing he is known for, and seeing he had pressed into Grimm to the disadvantage, shows how good he is.
Rai is very good; he had experience fighting in two big wars, a thing only old Grand Lords have.
With this experience and power, it is not a big thing for Rai to suppress the Grimm, who is equal in strength. Not to mention, his strength is growing every passing second.
If this goes on, he might not even need my help to finish the Grimm.
The clone one is working on fusing the mutation with him while, at the same time, working on the plant, and despite that, it can merge the mutation with Rai at a much faster speed than before, in a much-balanced form.
Seconds passed and turned into minutes, and soon, half an hour passed since the mist had disappeared.
There is a huge change has occurred; the humans, except for Rai, have become a lot more careful, while the Grimms have become rash, and with their power, they could afford to do that.
Once again, I had sensed the Grimm coming toward me; it had become quite easy to it after using a simple formation.
I am just tracking it through my strings, and it is making defending against its attacks a little easier.
Still, whenever I clashed with them, my heart beat faster; as I knew, I am just a single miss away from dying.
CLANNNNNNG!

Once again, I defended, and it took a large chunk of my energy so much that I could now only defend twenty-eight times, which is not much considering how these bastards attacked me.
Two more minutes passed, and I had been eleven times in it, leaving me around with seventeen more chances of defending.
Though I am very worried about it, there is a smile on my face as I am finished with the third or fourth Grimm and moved to the final Grimm, Yrak, against whom Rai is fighting.
Hun!
A few more seconds passed when I sensed something alarming, and I did not waste any time acting.
Immediately, the auras of the three Grimms lowered, and they disappeared to the Yrak and all the humans, even I could not inform them.
One of the Grimm they are fighting, the one named Fasv, tried to burn his core for power.
It could not do that with my strings; then one might think, what worries then? The worry is it realized it could then inform three others it could not do that.
The other three also tried it, but the two found out they could not do that either, leaving only who could do it.
Seeing three friends in trouble, the fourth one will definitely do it.
I just hope I am too late, it had not spread the news of what it was trying to do, or it would be bad.
“You bastard!” Yrak roared, looking at me directly, and the next moment, my expression changed.
“Fuck!” I cursed loudly and immediately asked my friends to get away and also the same time, closed the seals; they could not be closed fully, only temporarily, for five to six minutes at most.
It had lighted up the torch, and I could not stop it.
A second later, its aura began to increase at tremendous speed, but to its utter shock, not only was its aura increasing, Rai had released its full power, some of which he was holding before he lighted up the torch as well.
His aura had also begun to rise, and even faster than before.
Yrak moved not toward Rai but toward me, and its speed was very fast, but thankfully, Rai stopped it.
CLANNNNNNNNNG!
The weapons clashed, and they clashed with such power that had not been felt in this world before.
The space exploded into splinters, creating a black hole, which threatened to consume all before space began to heal rapidly.
Still, the shockwave released from it was powerful enough to push back all humans, including me.
