Young Brother-in-law Is Now My Husband - Chapter 1183 - Trapped

After working till late in the office, Lu Lijun and Noah were ready to leave.

"It's past midnight," said Noah.

"Hmm, I need to go now," Lu Lijun looked in a hurry.

"Going to trouble president Lu again?" Noah asked as they stepped out of the office.

"She is the only one who I like to trouble," Lu Lijun replied and asked, "You are going home, right?"

"I don't plan to," Noah replied.

"Jake must be waiting for you."

"Why would he and I didn't ask him to?"

"He just returned from his business trip. shouldn't you be there as he is living in your place?"

"It's more like his home now as he doesn't wish to leave my home."

"You are turning emotionless every passing day."

"Better than how I was at that time."

"Forget it already."

"You should be the last one to advise me."

Lu Lijun sighed. "I won't argue with you. I am already worried about my wife."

Noah scoffed, "Show off!"

Lu Lijun smiled, and Noah asked, "What happened to President Lu? Anything serious?"

"Just a woman's thing," Lu Lijun replied.

Noah understood, "Mr. Lu being a good husband."

"Can't help it."

Lu Lijun again went to Jiang Yuyan's home, where the butler welcomed him. Lu Lijun had already called Xiao Min to get an update about Jiang Yuyan, and he knew she was feeling fine and went to sleep early. 

Lu Lijun straightaway went upstairs. He looked like he held all the authority over everything, and he didn't need to get permission from anyone, not even from Jiang Yuyan. He casually walked upstairs as if it was his home, and it was natural for him to do whatever he felt right. 

When he entered Jiang Yuyan's room, just like the previous night, she was sleeping soundly on her one side as her back faced the door.

Lu Lijun went to bed, removed his shoes, and straightway got inside the quilt that was covering Jiang Yuyan. He was not at all scared of what would happen if she woke up. The previous night she didn't wake up. That didn't mean she won't wake up tonight either. 

Lu Lijun stared at the woman who faced her back to him and was sleeping soundly, not knowing someone had accompanied her in bed. Lu Lijun slowly moved closer and put his hand around her, not feeling worried that she might wake up. 

Her back touched his warm chest, and he thought, 'Not only is her natural cold, but her body is cold too. Such a cold woman,' Lu Lijun smiled, 'Let me warm you up,' he moved his hand to her abdomen, thinking to relieve her pain if it's there; if not, then he would enjoy the soft feel of her skin.

He closed his eyes and soon fell asleep while inhaling the sweet scent coming from her hair.

In a while, there was a movement in bed. 

'So comfortable,' Jiang Yuyan felt like she was dreaming and felt the sudden warmth that made her cold body feel warm and comfortable. She felt something around her stomach, 'It's heavy,' she frowned inside and moved her own hand to her stomach to get rid of it.

In her sleep, she held Lu Lijun's arm, 'Arm?' She moved her palm along it to make sure if it was really someone's hand, and the next moment, her sleepy eyes were left wide open as her heart started to beat faster. She was shocked and scared. She moved her sight to look at the hand wrapping around her, which made it sure that it was not a dream.

She was about to scream but covered her mouth as by then she realized who it was. That feeling was the same when Lu Lijun had slept with her in her bed while holding her like this. She can not be mistaken; she was sure. Was she getting used to it to recognize him just like that? 

She felt the man's hot breath brushing her shoulder and nape, and she felt the goosebumps appear on her skin. 

'What should I do? If he knows, I know he is here, he will be shameless and…." she clenched her fists and gritted her teeth.

Suddenly she felt the grip of his hand tightened around her stomach, and he held her even tighter, leaving no space between them.

'Is he awake? Did he realize I am awake too? No…."

Just then, she realized that he was inhaling deeply while rubbing his nose on the back of her neck and left out a satisfactory sigh. 

'What is he doing? Should I kick him out?' Just as she thought it, his one leg moved over her legs and trapped her legs with his, and he slept almost clinging on to her. 

'Gosh, this kid!' She was trapped and couldn't move. Jiang Yuyan gave up and preferred to sleep. She was sure, the next morning, she would not show that she knew he was there.

The next morning Jiang Yuyan woke up as she saw the bright sunlight had brightened up her room. She didn't move at all and thought to see if Lu Lijun was still there. She opened her one eye sneakily to take a look inside the room and looked calm. She closed her eyes and acted to turn around in her sleep. If he were on the bed, she would act as if she was still sleeping. She again sneakily opened her eyes a little and saw there was no one on the bed. She felt relieved and took the liberty to look around and sat up in bed.

'Thank god he is gone.' 

Just then, there was a knock on the door. 'Is he back?' she immediately lay back in the bed and pulled a quilt over her face covering it half till her nose. The person entered the room, and she slowly opened her one eye to check who it was. 

Seeing the butler who entered the room, must be to check on her to see if she was awake. Jiang Yuyan acted normal and sat up in bed.

"Good morning, young mistress," said the butler. 

She replied to him with a nod and thought, 'Seems like he left, thinking I should not know. Good. I won't show either,' she then looked at the butler then thought about Xiao Min, 'These two knew he was here. Did they see him sleeping in my bed?... God...that kid.' Jiang Yuyan knew Xiao Min and butler always came to check on her even in the middle of the night, so have they seen Lu Lijun with her too? 

Jiang Yuyan lowered her head and held her hair as if she wanted to pull them out and greeted her teeth.

When she was thinking this all, the Butler was standing there calmly thinking she must need some time to get over her sleep. Seeing her like this, he asked, "Young mistress, are you not feeling well? Headache? Should I call for the doctor?"

Jiang Yuyan shook her head and said, "Leave me alone for a while."
