Jiang Yuyan took Lu Lijun upstairs to her room as the stubborn guy obediently followed her. As they entered the room, she closed the door only to turn and glare at him. 

"What were you about to say there?" she asked coldly as the anger brewed inside her.

"The fact?" he replied the same way as her. He, too, looked upset and was ready to argue with her.

"What fact? That nonsense filled in your brain is not a fact," she countered.

"But that nonsense is the reality of my life...Our lives," he corrected.

Jiang Yuyan angrily stepped towards him to stand facing him, and she glared into his eyes as they looked full of warning. "Listen to me carefully. I will say it for the last time."

Lu Lijun stood calmly in his place to listen to her. 

"Keep this in your mind that I am not your wife. That marriage means nothing because you were a kid. It was nothing more than a child's play. By the law, you can never claim me as your wife."

Just as she stopped, he said, "I don't care about the law. I know what I believed since I was young. Whatever you say, for me, you will always be my wife, and I can never let you go to someone else. I will do everything I can just to keep you with me. If you still insist, you will see the worst of me." 

She frowned, "What will you do, huh?"

This time Lu Lijun stepped towards her as he stared at her with an intimidating gaze. "I am holding back from saying it to the family just because I want to give you time to accept me. But if they try to find someone else for my wife, the entire world will know you are mine. I simply don't care what others will say or do."

This time Jiang Yuyan was not affected by him and rooted in her place as there was no change in her cold expressions. "Do you want to tell them? Do it. Go ahead and tell everyone."

It puzzled Lu Lijun. Till this moment, she was adamant about not telling anyone, but now she told him to say it to others.

She continued, "I was tolerating your nonsense just because of our family and didn't leave this home yet for their sake. But if you tell them, you will make it easy for me to leave, and trust me; no one would even try to stop me."

The woman who looked weak in front of his advances till now suddenly looked changed, and he realized he was delusional to think he could affect her so easily. 

"If you think you can stop me or you can find me wherever I go, then you are fooling yourself by not understanding how capable I can be. I will disappear forever that you would never be able to find me even if I die. And by chance, if you find me, it won't be when I am alive. Do you understand?"

This time her words shook him, and he didn't know what to say.

"If you dare tell them, then go and do it right away. If you think I can't marry anyone, then I won't mind clearing your doubt and marrying the man our family brings for me."

"You can't..."

"You have no right over me or my life to stopping me from marrying anyone. I am not a married woman but a widow of your elder brother who is free to marry whoever I want," she interrupted him.

"Don't you even think about it," he warned, getting back to his senses. 

"You are no one to stop me, and don't you dare threaten me," she warned. "I will do what I want. Either I spend my life alone or marry someone else. It's none of your business."

Staring at her for a while in disbelief, he asked, "Are you that desperate to marry someone?" 

"Yes, I am," she replied in haste.

He chuckled, "Go ahead. I'll see how you can marry someone when I, your husband, is here."

"Don't challenge me," she warned.

"I just want to see what you can do," he said and gave her a challenging glare, "Either you marry someone else or be my wife only."

She sighed, "Your wife? In your dreams."

"In my dreams, you are always my wife. Do you want to know what kind of a wife?" Lu Lijun stepped ahead that covered whatever distance was left between them.

Jiang Yuyan tried to stay calm and rooted at her place by not feeling intimidated by him, but the way he looked at her again was the same that made her vary of him every time he came closer to her.

A while ago, his eyes were filled with anger and frustration, but now there was a sudden change, and she couldn't understand what it was that managed to scare her. Trying to keep staring at him, she subconsciously stepped back, and Lu Lijun kept stepping ahead.

"Would you like to know what we do in my dreams? And what kind of wife are you to me?"

Jiang Yuyan stopped by the door as she stepped back and made a light sound of her colliding with the door. It startled her as she forgot there was a door behind her that she closed a while ago. She was about to move from there, but the pair of strong arms rested in the door on either side to trap her between them, and she gulped as his tall body covered her and his eyes fixed on her puzzled face.

Whatever she tried, one thing she was sure that the way he could affect her; no one could do it in the past ten years. There was only one person, and that was Lu Qiang. After he passed away, all the time, she was the boss, and others felt intimidated by her but with Lu Lijun, it was totally opposite. He never failed to break her invisible shield and intimidate her like no one ever did.

Lu Lijun lowered his head and whispered in her ears in the hoarse voice, "In my dreams, you are always an obedient lovely wife who loves it when this husband touches her."
